Castle Inn exceeded my expectations. The reviews had already made me feel I was choosing a good hotel, but ended up being great. The hotel is in a good location and they have their own free private parking and checking in and out was very easy. The hotel is like motel in the sense that each room has it's own outdoor entrance and no need to go through a lobby to access. If the price were a bit lower then I would say this was the best option in San Francisco, but reality is we only reserved a room there because I had a credit to use which lowered the price of my room significantly so the price was not an issue at the time. Still, it is a hotel worth spending the extra money on. I would stay again.

I was so impressed with this place. I had stayed somewhere else the first night of my trip, and I was blown away at how quiet and peaceful the Castle Inn is. With staying in the city, most places are loud and rowdy. The Castle Inn was so peaceful and quiet. I WILL stay here again. And GREAT parking! In their underground parking garage there's an alarm that rings when it senses someone is there. It gave me peace of mind.

The room was clean, bed was very comfortable, the bathroom and shower were nice. The microwave/fridge was a nice touch. Location is great, safe and close to everything you need. The reception team was very helpful with tips, places to go, places to avoid, etc… We were able to store our luggage upon checkout for several hours due to our late night flight. We would definitely stay here again when in SF!!!

The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and it had plenty of security cameras around the premises.
